Red Rag Press is North Queensland's only fully equipped letterpress, etching and bookmaking studio. It is set in an idyllic, tropical environment which sits on the banks of the Ross River surrounded by native bush land and lush gardens which play host to wonderful bird life and a unique range of native Australian animals.

The press has been gathering momentum (and equipment) since 2006 and now the 2 studios, letterpress and etching, are fully fitted with five presses ranging from small up to large poster size.

The aquatint box is capable of taking a one third sheet of copper and there are almost 300 full type cases.

Collaborating with other artists, poets and writers, Red Rag Press functions at its best in the printing of artists book text and imagery and has published eight editioned books with several more in various stages of planning.
